When using the abba Superbike Stand or Sky Lift on the Yamaha YZF-R7 (22 Onwards) the gear linkage arm on the left hand side of the bike passes the bike's swing-arm pivot. Therefore this needs to be lowered down before the stand or lift can be used on the bike.
This is very easy to do, you simply need to remove the small bolt shown in the picture below, which will allow you to remove the arm and lower it out of the way. The Superbike Stand or Sky Lift can then be fitted in the normal way.
When finished you can simply re-fit and tighten the small bolt and the bike will be back to its normal mode.
Tip: Draw a small line in marker pen across the pivot shaft & arm, this will ensure you can easily put the arm back in the same position when re-fitting.
